General Terms and conditions Coach2Travel

“Article 1: Scope”

These sales conditions apply to the rental of coaches in general, including in combination with subcontracting and lodging. All coaches according to availability at reservation.

“Article 2: Establishment of the contract”

The contract for the execution of an autocar trip comes about with the client’s confirmation of the offer and the delivery of the order form by us.

“Article 3: Obligations of the coach company”

The coach company commits to execute the order according to the content of the issued order form.
Changes made to the order by the customer may result in price revision by the coach company. If changes occur during the course of the journey, the coach company can also revise the price for these changes against the original order.

“Article 4: Obligations of the customer / lessee of the coach”

In order to be able to make a correct price quote, the customer is obliged to describe the assignment as detailed as possible. If the customer wants to make changes to the order form, he is obliged to inform the coach company of this at least 5 working days before the execution of the order.
Changes such as destination, departure time and anticipated arrival time and requested capacity may lead to price adjustment. The coach company can unilaterally cancel the order if the changes are of such a nature that the order can no longer be executed.

“Article 5: agreed price”

Both parties are bound by the price stated in the order form if the order was executed as described in the order form. Changes to agreed hours, destination and capacity may lead to price revision by the coach company (see Article 3).
Prices are calculated, based on the capacity of the coaches, number of kilometers, number of hours and 1 or more drivers, in order to be able to respect the statutory rest and driving times.
All parking fees and driver costs are not included in the price unless otherwise stated in the quotation.

“Article 6: Payment of the coach trip”

The customer can issue payment within 5 working days at our head office. After this period an invoice will be sent to the client, unless otherwise stated on the order form. The due date is always 30 days after the invoice date. In the event of non-payment of the invoice on the due date, these costs will be charged: a flat-rate compensation of 10% and default interest at statutory interest rate. If a payment has to be prosecuted, the amount will automatically be increased by 20% title of punishment clause with a minimum of 50.00 euro regardless of interest on arrears and court costs.

In the event of non-payment of our invoices on their due date, interest or fines, we reserve the right to cancel all orders still to be executed by registered letter without the client being able to claim any compensation for this.

“Article 7: Cancellations”

Cancellations must be communicated in writing and if this happens within 30 days before departure, the following costs apply:

One-day travel

  • Less than 30 days before departure: 15% of the total price
  • Less than 14 days before departure: 30% of the total prices
  • Less than 48 hours before departure: 90% of the total price

Multi-day trips

  • Less than 30 days before departure: 15% of the total price
  • Less than 14 days before departure: 30% of the total prices
  • Less than 48 hours before departure: 50% of the total price

“Article 8: On the road”

The consumption of your own alcoholic drinks on the bus is not permitted. If desired, we can provide beer, soft drinks, coffee and tea at democratic prices. You must clearly state this in advance when confirming the quotation.

The driver is entitled to refuse persons in a drunken state to access the bus.

The driver can, under the authority and according to the instructions of his employer, freely determine the itinerary that he will follow to the destination agreed on. The driver has, under the authority of his employer, the right to immediately interrupt the journey for a duration of his choice, and possibly return to the departure point via the shortest route if his instructions on board are not respected by the passengers, or if the attitude or behavior of one or more passengers in his opinion constitutes a danger to the safety of the bus and the other passengers.

“Article 9: Complaints”

All complaints must be made within 8 days after completion of the journey.

“Article 10: Acceptance of the order”

By accepting the order, the customer also agrees to accept our general sales conditions.

“Article 11: Court”

The court of Turnhout is competent for all disputes.

“Article 12: Damage caused to the vehicles”

If damage is caused to the coaches by the customer himself, the coach company will be allowed to recover the damage suffered from the client.
